Bio

Daniel graduated with a starred first in History from Cambridge University before being awarded a Henry Fellowship at Harvard, where he studied under Amartya Sen. He has graduate degrees in economics and philosophy from the LSE, where he is Research Director of the Programme on Cohesive Capitalism.

Prior to joining LSE, Daniel worked as an advisor in the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit and Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, and as a researcher at think tanks including the Institute for Fiscal Studies and the Resolution Foundation.
